Harlan Howard called country music “three chords and the truth”. It gets appropriated by rock music all the time, but let's face it that's nothing new. Rock and roll is nothing if not a “can't get married in most states” cousin of country music. The truth, well the truth is this weird great unknowable that is always hard to pin down but you know it when you hear it. It is what I look for in any piece of music: to be real–really real. It has to be telling a truth or at least feel as if it is.

After years of life’s twists and turns, Steve Drymalski is back where he belongs—making music. Once the driving force behind the rock band Men Among Thieves, Drymalski took a hiatus to focus on a behind-the-scenes career. But now, he’s ready to reclaim the stage with his new band, SunDown47.
